THE PURPOSE OF FASTING IS TO HUNGER FOR GOD BY

GIVING UP SOMETHING FROM THIS WORLD.

Jeremiah 29:12

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

Types of Fasts:

Complete Fast: Drink only liquids, abstain from all food.

Selective Fast: Removing certain elements from your diet. (ex: Daniel Fast)

Partial Fast: Abstaining from eating during a certain time.

Soul Fast: Removing distractions such as TV, social media, streaming etc.
